Neurodivergence is my Superpower Program

Saturday, October 28th at 10:30 AM. Registration required.

Appropriate for middle school & high school age students.

This program is presented by Dr. Shahid of the UCONN Civil Engineering Department.

This program will help to educate all students on how important neurodivergence is, whether they have been formally diagnosed or not. A strength-based approach is used, emphasizing that we all are unique and it is only with our unique talents, once they are pieced together, that we can solve highly complex problems.

The activities used are designed to give students the space to explore and use their imagination to its fullest extent.

• CREATE using 3D printing pens

• EXPLORE using microscopes

• ZONE into mindfulness activities

• ENGAGE and understand each other
